The Balinese believe that integrating internal and external environments is the only way to live. It allows for harmony and balance. This relationship is seamless and provides a variety of spaces to sit and observe the world.  The notion of bringing the “outdoors in”  is something the West has begun to implement only recently while its inspiring to see how the Balinese have developed this concept through the centuries.
